Mark Ronson feat. Daniel Merriweather - Stop Me
Released April 9th.
Mark Ronson makes his comeback with this single paving the way for his new album “Version”.
This single is the first on his album a spin on “The Smiths – Stop Me If You’ve Heard This One Before” blending “The Supreme’s – You Keep Me Hanging On” personally approved by Morrissey.
This single introduces Australia’s star in waiting Daniel Merriweather for the vocals.
The Chicken Lips Remix extend the track by double the length and gives it a electronic feel which sounds good but seems out of place on this sort of track but it is pulled off well.
The DUB Edition is with limited vocals and sounds better than the remix with vocals with its straight to the point intro and its electronic feel.
The Dirty South Remix still comes with the electronic feel the track but brings the bass line up a level to give it more sharpness, definitely a track to listen too if you like the original mix with a bit of heavy bass.
The single will be released on the 9th April and the album will follow on the April 16th.
