The Hedrons - Heekseeker
Released January 8th
The Hedrons met in 2005 and formed an all-girl rock band that by the end of 2006 had played in excess of 120 shows across the UK and recently made history by becoming the first British band to play a virtual gig over the internet. They release their third single ‘Heatseeker’ on January 8th, taken from their debut album ‘One More Won’t Kill Us’ which is due for release February 5th.
‘Heekseeker’ is unlikely to make rock history, as it does not distinguish itself from anything else other then the fact they are an all-female group doing a sound normally associated with male groups, but saying that the blend of vocals and guitars work well making it pleasing to listen too but unlikely to make any long term marks.
‘Heatseeker’ is released though Measured Records/Pinnacle on January 8th.
