U2 - U218 Singles
Released November 20th.
U2 have become one of the most popular rock bands of all time, and are influential to generations of new and upcoming bands. They are known well for their sweeping sound, as well as their pretentious statements about religion and political issues.
'U218 Singles' is their latest greatest hits album, a career-spanning collection of 16 excellent songs, including two new tracks. One of the new tracks is 'The Saints Are Coming', a collaboration with rock band Green Day. The release is part of the Hurricane Katrina charity music rising.
A return of some old favourites such as 'Beautiful Day' and 'Vertigo' make this album everything a fan will need for the U2 experience, and will undoubtedly be equally big or even bigger than any other previous U2 releases.
